Travel itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Addis Ababa – Capital City Exploration

Upon arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Begin your Ethiopian adventure with a comprehensive city tour, including:

Mount Entoto for panoramic views of the capital and surrounding highlands.
National Museum of Ethiopia, home to the famous fossil "Lucy."

Day 2 - Addis Ababa – Jimma

Drive southwest to Jimma (approximately 345 km) through the scenic landscapes of the Gibe River Valley. Along the way, observe rural Ethiopian life, agricultural fields, and traditional villages.

Upon arrival:

Visit the Jimma Museum.
Explore the historic Palace of King Abba Jifar II, one of Ethiopia's most influential rulers.

Day 3 - Jimma – Bonga (Birthplace of Arabica Coffee)

Continue to Bonga, located in the heart of the Kaffa Biosphere Reserve, widely regarded as the birthplace of wild Arabica coffee.

En route and upon arrival:

Visit a traditional Kaffa homestead and learn about local customs and lifestyles.
